Tommorow is my school beginning...
The term of Korean High school
Korean school have two terms, 'First term, 1학기' and 'Second term, 2학기'.
the First term is started in Spring (almost first week of March)
and between '1학기' and '2학기', we had Summer vacation.
the Second term is started in Fall.(after summer vacation)
winter vacation is started in first week of December.
and starting school at Feb.
but Spring vacation is start again in Feb 13 (almost 2 weeks);;
however, most schools are have class during vacation.
in during vacation, schools are end the class at 6:00P.M.

ReplyDeleteLoL, this terms ... this rules are a little bit complicated for me xD here, in Poland, have quite differently rules '^^ we also have 2 terms, but our school year begins on 01.September... than in February we have winter breaks (two weeks), and after this we started second term... this term and school year end in half of June... than we have two months of summer holidays =) student year it's almost the same, with this difference that we begin it on 01.October... and we don't stay in school so long in a day '^^ school day mostly begin on 8AM and ends about 4PM... and this is it xD some have an additional lessons, but Polish kid mostly go to home after school and do nothing =( well, I don't know if this good or not, but I think that it's hard spend so many time in school like a Korean kids... from other side, Korean kids have a useful lessons (in some way), and Polish kids stayed mostly alone in home, coz parents are at work, or they played with other kids...
LoL, I have really many a lot to say about Polish school, but I don't know if this interests you'^^ sorry to bother you if this not intresting at all xD and sorry for so long comment xD

Polish schools are better than Korean schools.
Korean students are didn't had any leisure.
Teachers and parants are always say that 'ONLY SCHOOL STUDY and go on to SEOUL QUERTER UNIVERSITY'. Very sad.
I've interested in many kinds of another cultures include Polish. :-)
yeah, it's sad that adults told you that only school and your hard work gonna make you better, gonna make you can go study in big city and maybe this guarantee you a good job... but when it's place for childhood, fun, rest etc. in Asian countries education means a lot I see...
